WeShift Institute Curriculum
This immersive practice-focused 20-week journey is uniquely scaffolded to build our inner infrastructure and foster me to we capacity-building. This personalized journey of ‘offerings’ is an invitation to explore, experiment, practice and play! We move through the following 4 Pillars together – daring greatly and igniting the possible.
Pillar I: Collective Spark of We-ness (4 weeks)
What is the spark that is calling you to change the world? Pillar I unites your inner spark with the spark of like-minded change-makers, kindling the fires of collective possibility.
- We begin to establish community and an ethos of relationality, to build a safe container, and to ground the principles of we and wellbeing at the center of our work
- We explore what it means to ‘build our inner infrastructure’ in ways that foster the inner journey from me to We
- We orient to the what, why, and how of practice-in-action - the ‘how to’ framework providing tangible protocols to support action learning in the moment
- We lean into not knowing, and innovative processes that foster openness and flow
- We practice mindfulness that goes beyond the self, from me- to we-focused
- Foundational frameworks and concepts such as the Cycle of Transformative Unity, Latitudes of Mindfulness, Transformation Literacy, and a Quantum Perspective are introduced, creating a solid base to build upon throughout the program

Pillar II: Me-volve to We-volve (4 weeks)
Across the arc of Pillar II, we delve deeper and begin excavating our inner archeology in safe ways. We engage in ‘first person research’, doing the me-work required for interconnected We-work.
- We engage in a wide variety of practices to deepen our self-awareness, and expand our awareness-based and relational literacies
- We lean into discomfort, learn how to practice at the ‘soft edge’ and how to ‘resource’, to strengthen our comfort level with discomfort
- We delve into our relationship with daring, exploring our willingness to self-reflect and to experiment with disrupting habitual ways of being and doing (me-volve)
- Through delineated practice-in-action steps, we increase our capacity to notice what is arising in our inner worlds and how to navigate those arisings - enhancing our capacity for connectedness with ourselves (intra-personally) and with others (interpersonally)
- We explore big questions - questions of liberation and freedom. What are we freeing ourselves from personally (me) and collectively (we)? What needs to be disrupted? And what is made possible as a result? Important questions we revisit on this journey from me to We

Meet Your Facilitator
What began 25 years ago as a deep impulse to understand the mind and the processes involved in growing self-awareness, became a journey devoted to transformation and practice-in-action in service to collective wellbeing. Integral to this journey has been extensive time in meditation retreat, and an in-depth exploration of mindfulness, metaphysics, ancient wisdom traditions, and Esoteric Psychology. This led to becoming a practitioner of Esoteric Buddhism, which focuses on the transformative journey of evolving consciousness.
Pivotal observations fueled my commitment to fostering awareness-based social change. Specifically, the widespread suffering arising from: endemic division from overt power dynamics and oppression, to subtle separations reinforced by titles and status; the deepening crisis fueled by the pervasive ethos of self-centeredness; the fractured state of our systems that neglect collective well-being; and the focus on intellectual understanding over actionable, embodied practice, even within the mindfulness community. Deep questions emerged: How can we address our global crises if we continue to approach them from a self-focused perspective? What forms of practice and training are needed to co-create a flourishing future? How can we shift our focus from me to we?
The WeShift Institute is the result of years of living into these questions within our nonprofit, committed to collective practice-in-action. It is our hope this program meets people wherever they are on their journey, supports the capacity-building needed to foster the inner movement from me to We, and serves as a catalyst in the world. May WeShift together and ignite the possible. MORE
With love and active hope, Lisa Napora
