Strengthen your capacity for change.
Capacity requires cultivating awareness and applying it within the space of the collective, harnessing the generative capacity of ‘we’, and putting our collective energy into action based on shared beliefs, values, and intentions. Every person who has or wants to cultivate a mindfulness practice can be a leader of change. Practicing mindfulness builds and strengthens our capacity for awareness, openness, and compassion. Doing ‘inner work’, strengthening our inner awareness, not only fosters our own wellbeing, it fosters our ability to do the ‘outer work’ of social change.
Growing awareness fosters the capacity to lead in a new way, not form in front or behind,
but from the inside out.
but from the inside out.
From Me to We
The Mindfulness Alliance supports the movement from Me to We, from individual to collective. This is a transformational movement toward interconnectedness and collective wellbeing. Although this movement is already underway, it requires us to be daring. It requires us to have courage, to lean into the power of our contemplative practice, and trust the unfolding process. You can learn more about this journey in our recent publication, Transformation Literacy to Transformative Unity: A Nobel Experiment from me to We.
BE DARING – Open more. Let go more. Be vulnerable.
"When the forms of an old culture are dying and falling away,
the new culture will be created by those who are unafraid to be insecure."
